Dear Chrissyfur…

Chris,

Thanks for the review of Cafe Nostra.  It certainly sounds like a delicious place.  I must ask though, as a man of Italian descent can we expect that you will only be reviewing Italian cuisine?  I am wondering this because my brother and I have recently opened a Subway franchise in the Ottawa area and I think you’d find it just wonderful.  We have lots of booth seating and the wallpaper in the restaurant is of old blueprints from subway trains mixed together with newspaper clippings from a long time ago.  There are countless delicious subway sandwiches available to purchase and we have a stand-up cardboard Jared that greets you when you enter.  I hope you will consider visiting my establishment.  We are very excited to see you soon.

Yours,
Vince Agostino

Dear Vince,

Thanks for your question. No, I won’t be reviewing Italian restaurants only. I’ve got an upcoming review of Swiss Chalet, so, as you can see, Switzerland is my next stop. I have the intention of taking a round the world trip in my restaurant reviews. Kind of like what Tony Bourdain does with “No Reservations“. The aim is to create awareness about the delicious international cuisines from each and every land. Next stop, Boston Pizza, followed by The Outback, and then Montana’s. I’ve had some friends tell me that Montanians know how to do it up. I can just taste the exotic already.

With that said, I am fascinated by this…Subway…of yours. What corner of the world is this from? I find this fascinating. Who is Jared? I’m also tittilated by the prospect of wallpaper with old newspaper clippings. I’ve never seen this before.

Fascinating! Man. I love doing this.
