		<description>christ man, i thought you were joking when you said you had a conservative sign on your front lawn!  like when i told you i had just accepted the neo-rhino nomination in my riding.  but i just google mapped your house and you can see it right there in satellite view next to your salami and prosciutto garden.

although i&#039;m a seminal anti-tory i do acknowledge that in canada i&#039;ve seen very little difference in the way things are being run since harper took power.  i&#039;m not saying there&#039;s no difference but it&#039;s kind of funny how our left and right are a lot closer to the middle than they are in the states... where the republicans and democrats seem to be at two extremes when it comes to most issues.

PS about your beef with the green party... i&#039;ve been thinking about this a lot lately. if you check out their platform you&#039;ll see they&#039;ve got a pretty thorough and well-rounded approach to things. problem is as long as they&#039;re called the GREEN party they&#039;ll be written off as a bunch of granola crunching tree huggers.  i seriously think if they just re-branded themselves with a less enviro-centric name they&#039;d be taken a lot more seriously.  i&#039;m going to suggest they go with &quot;taupe party&quot;.  taupe is beautiful.</description>
