Hello track teamers,

This post is going to unite us in a way unlike anything we have ever experienced before. I was introduced to the Angry Video Game Nerd recently by a friend, and felt as if a waterfall (a la Duran Duran’s video for The Reflex) of understanding hit my head, as an early thirtysomething former regular Nintendo fanatic. James Rolfe’s video pieces on the most frustrating games made me realize just in fact how much of my early childhood I spent obsessively attempting to perfect certain areas in Nintendo games that were near impossible to figure out. I’m now convinced that they might have had illiterate morons programming code in 16 bit for some of the shit I owned. Like Castelvania 2. I saw this video and had to hit the kickboxing studio to lay out some frustration.

Robert Downey Jr. seems to have made an excellent transition into hanging with the cool dudes of comedy. He apparently literally took the place of Owen Wilson. He’ll probably start showing up in Wes Anderson movies now.

If the trailer is any indication of how funny this movie is going to be, I’m going to dress as Ron Burgundy and Dewey Cox at the same time while I stand in line at the cineplex. I’ll be Dewey Burgundy. Will Ferrell is Will Ferrell, but John C. Reilly….you amaze me with your quick ability to toggle between comedy and drama.
